Psychic Skills
Contrary to Popular Belief, Psychic Abilities can be developed by Anyone!
What actually makes us special is the desire to do so and the belief that we can. I'll be getting deeper into HOW to develop these skills within blog posts and other writings so look for that, but for now I wanted to offer details on specific skills. You may even discover that you already possess some of these skills without realizing it. Below are what's known as "The Clairs" and are fundamental Psychic abilities from which all others develop.
Clairaudience - "clear audio/hearing" is the ability to hear aethereal and cosmic sounds outside of the 'normal' range of hearing for most human beings. Sounds may include extrasensory environmental noise, spiritual frequencies, and even spiritual communications arranged into seemingly verbal speech. These sounds are received without the aid of the physical ear, but are registered in the brain as sound.
Claircognizance - "clear knowing" is the ability to have a sudden knowledge or knowing without physical explination or reason. Claircognizance would include both precognition and retroconition (knowledge of the past and future)
Clairgustance - "clear taste" is the ability to taste something one has not put into their mouth. The clairgustant can taste frequency and essenses of objects through the sensing of aethereal and spiritual energy.
Clairtangency - "clear touch" also known as Psychometry which is the ability to gather information about an object through touching or holding it.
Clairtaction - This is a new clair that is considered to be the ability to sense being touched by a spiritual entity or energy, passing information through contact.
Clairscent - "clear smell" is a broader ability than people think. It can be the ability to smell a scent that is not currently in your environment that is perceived without the aid of your physical nose, or it can mean the gaining of information from scents in your atmosphere.
Clairsentience - "clear feeling" is the ability to perceive vibrations and feelings from one's surroundings (people,places,animals,objects,etc) and gain information from those feelings. This can range from the perception of emotions and thoughts to feeling physical sensations.
Clairvoyance - "clear sight" is the ability to receive visions of objects, places, people, and events in the minds eye (third eye) without the use of the physical eyes. It can also mean the perception of the spiritual and aethereal realms... seeing that which others cannot normally see.

Psionics & Kinetics
Pursuing Psychic abilities seems to have become a taboo, or rather a subject to be scoffed at beyond precognition and mediumship. Psionics & Kinetics are probably the least practiced and developed skills among those who claim to change the fabric of their reality and it could simply be because of the constant portrayal of these abilitites as something imaginary. As a Sorceress, Psionics & Kinetics become an important subject to understand, and it is surely up to people like you and me to explore scientific proof and connectivity to the human brain and general condition, as the field of Science and even of Parapsychology has failed to do more than hypothesize the reality of these abilities and what causes/controls them.
Psionic Energy
Science fails to give proper meaning to the term "Psionic" past its root word meanings which are "Psyche" and "machine", with 'onic' coming from the word "electronic". In my current opinion after nearly 30 years of practice and research, I come to a meaning of "Psionics" as the electrical charge within the body. Our brains are full of electrical charges, just as our cells pass charges from one to another until it reaches its destination. The electricity within the body can be seen as Psionic Energy that is naturally occurring within every one of us, however beyond simply being the energy it must be controlled by the Psyche or "will" of the mind to create the flow of a "Psy Machine".

Moreover, what creates the largest quantities of energy within us that give us physically charged sensations? You guessed it... Emotion. Therefore, the control of emotions can easily translate into the control of specific kinds of electrical charges within the body. But control doesn't simply mean the ability to control emotions when they arise. It's more about being able to call upon those emotions at any particular moment through will. This along with the natural functions of the body which create electricity is where we find the fullest meaning of Psionic Energy. We can also find with expansion here that one is able to control the functions of the body as easily as one controls their emotions. However, this does seem to be difficult for most people in this day and age. When we consider that everything on its most basic level comes down to nothing more than a specific arrangement of protons, neutrons, and electrons... we see how simple it might be to learn how to shift those arrangements with either an increase or decrease in electrical charge.
Kinetic Energy
Kinetic energy is simply described as the energy obtained through movement, or the momentum an object obtains through movement. The word Kinesis is a Greek word meaning "motion", however it is an energy that an object possesses due to it's motion rather than being the motion itself. In physics, it is defined as the work that is needed in order to accelerate a body of mass from rest to its current velocity, from it's velocity to its rest, and it maintains this energy until it's speed changes.
When speaking of Kinetic energy, it's important to understand that we possess a great amount of this energy in nearly everything that involves physical action. This can be as simple as walking to your front door, or even the movement of blood cells within our veins. We can even consider the electrical charges (psionic energy) that move through our bodies. Putting this as simply as possible, we merely need to become aware of what we already possess, and take control of it. Of course the subject of Kinetic energy can become very involved, but the basic premise is what we are looking for here in order to understand a definition of Psionic & Kinetic Energy within the development of Psychic Abilities. I hope this is sufficient enough for you to begin making connections to the brain, the body, and the innate psychic abilities that we are all capable of possessing.
Advancing in Psionics & Kinetics
For the most part, becoming aware and learning a new way of seeing the natural processes of our body and of energy itself gives a great advantage to those hoping to attain less passive psychic abilities. Just as the witch learns to change the world with the power of belief, rewiring the mind is a vital part of learning new skills. Just as we train our muscles to achieve physical feats, so too must we train our minds to connect to the power we possess both physically and mentally. With a Hermetic view of the "Mental Universe", obtaining these abilities do not seem so farfetched.

How does it work?
The brain controls the body via the nervous system by sending electrical impulses to their intended destination, which in turn stimulates particular areas of the body, just like muscle contraction and release. Let's assume that the brain can directly affect the outer world in the same way it does the body. What reason would there be for this to be untrue? Since every physical thing is made of electrons, protons, and neutrons (including air), why should it not be possible to pass these impulses in new directions, having learned how to do so? This is what learning Psionic & Kinetic abilities is all about... Learning to change the physical world without physical interaction beyond the directing of electrical impulses through the power of its own motion.
Thus we have learned Psychokinesis!

Aerokinesis - the ability to create and control wind.
Atmokinesis - the ability to control the atmosphere.
Biokinesis - the ability to both manipulate biological structure.
Chronokinesis - the ability to manipulate time.
Cryokenisis - the ability to produce cold temperatures by slowing down electrons in or around an object.
Electrokinesis - the ability to both manipulate and produce electrical currents.
Geokinesis - the ability to manipulate soil/earth.
Gyrokinesis - the ability to both manipulate and produce gravitational fields.
Hydrokenisis - the manipulation of water
Magnokinesis - the ability to both manipulate and produce magnetic fields.
Omnikinesis - the ability manipulate everything.
Photokinesis - the ability to both manipulate and produce light.
Pyrokinesis - the ability to produce a heat resulting in flame by speeding up electrons in or around an object.
Telekinesis - the ability to move physical objects with the mind.
I wish I could give you some simple way to hone these abilities, but the truth of the matter is that the only thing you can do is spend years practicing control over self, emotions, will power, physical energy, and electrical charges within the body.
